More than needles.
A complete reset for your nervous system.

Most people come to me having tried everything else. They have seen their GP, had bloods done, been told everything is fine. Some have tried other treatments and got nowhere.

What acupuncture does that almost nothing else does is calm the nervous system at a very deep level. When your nervous system finally gets to slow down, your body can start doing the work it has been trying to do all along.

The needles are fine and most people barely feel them. The most common thing clients say after their first session is that they slept better that night than they had in months.

What actually happens when you come to see me.

Your first appointment is longer than a follow-up because we spend proper time at the start going through your health history, your symptoms, your sleep, your stress and your cycle if relevant. I want to understand the full picture before I do anything.

The treatment itself is deeply relaxing for most people. You will lie comfortably while the needles do their work, usually for about 20 to 30 minutes. Most clients leave feeling noticeably calmer than when they arrived.

For most conditions a course of treatment gives the best results. I will always be honest with you about what I think you need and how long it is likely to take before you start feeling a real difference.

Stress and Anxiety

When your nervous system is stuck in overdrive everything suffers. Your sleep, your digestion, your hormones, your ability to cope. Acupuncture directly calms the stress response and many clients notice a real difference after the very first session.

Hormonal Imbalances & Perimenopause

PMS, irregular cycles, PCOS, hot flushes, sleep disruption, brain fog. Acupuncture supports the hormonal system by regulating the nervous system and reducing the inflammation that drives so many of these symptoms. There is good evidence for acupuncture through perimenopause specifically, and I see the results every week in clinic.

Chronic Pain & Injury Recovery

Back pain, joint pain, migraines, headaches, sports injuries, TMJ. Acupuncture reduces inflammation, improves circulation and stimulates the body's own pain-relieving mechanisms. It is one of the most researched therapies for pain relief, whether the pain is longstanding or from a recent injury.

Fatigue & Sleep Issues

Exhaustion that sleep does not fix, or sleep that will not come in the first place. Whether you cannot fall asleep, cannot stay asleep, or wake at 3am with your mind racing, acupuncture helps regulate the adrenal response and addresses the underlying reasons rather than just the symptom.

Women’s Health

From cycle irregularities to postpartum recovery, acupuncture has a long history of supporting women's health at every stage of life. Treatments are always tailored to where you are and what you need.

“A lot of my clients do both and there is a very good reason for that. When acupuncture and nutrition are working together the results are in a different league.”
— Jennifer Creedon

Acupuncture works even better alongside nutritional therapy.

Acupuncture calms the nervous system and reduces inflammation. Nutritional therapy addresses what you are eating and why it might be making things worse. When both are working together the results are in a different league.

★★★★★
Amazing results after the first visit. I came in with pain in my lumbar spine due to a herniated disc. During the interview, Jennifer suggested she would also treat my painful elbow and work on my bladder. I have already had five sessions and I can easily say that the problems I was struggling with have disappeared, and the quality of my life, sleep, and functioning have improved. I highly recommend Jennifer.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most people barely feel the needles. They are hair-thin, nothing like an injection, and most clients find the session itself deeply relaxing rather than uncomfortable.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on what you are being treated for and how long you have been dealing with it. Some people notice a difference after the first session, most conditions respond best to a course of treatment. I will be upfront with you about what I think you need after your first visit.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No referral is needed, you can book directly. Acupuncture works well alongside conventional medical care and I will always recommend you continue working with your GP where appropriate.

Is acupuncture available online?

No, acupuncture needs to be done in person. Sessions take place at 256 Swords Road, Whitehall, Dublin 9. If you are not able to get to me in person, I also offer nutritional therapy online across Ireland and the UK.
